neuron 5.8 bug?

Hi,

Since I downloaded and installed the last version of neuron I'm getting the following message upon startup:

bash.exe: warning: could not find /tmp, please create!

After that, everything else runs as usual and I haven't had further problems. I already checked that the /tmp directory is there, under the directory where neuron is installed.
Is this something to care about?
BTW, I'm running neuron under Windows XP.

regards.

I found the answer by myself: neuron is looking for the 'tmp' directory in the root, and not in /nrn58.
However, this didn't happen with the previous version. Some install bug?

No, just a cygwin configuration problem. Far too tedious to explain beyond that.
The workaround, as you discovered, is to create a tmp directory in c:
Fixed in the latest alpha version for MSWin.
