Our IT guys just upgraded all the instructional machines to Win7 with very little warning. We can't manage to bring up Neuron, and I can't find instructions for how to get this to work in Win7. The install LOOKS successful, but when I try to run any hoc files, the windows just blink up real fast then shut right down before I can read error messages.
Any "Neuron in Win7 for Dummies" tips??
Thanks
Scott

Re: Win7 install for idiots
Something was broken during the upgrade, but instead of trying to "fix" it, it's probably just better to uninstall NEURON (use the uninstaller that comes with it--in the NEURON Program Group), delete the entire c:\nrn* tree if one still persists, then reinstall NEURON.
