Is there any network model using extracellular mechanism in simulating DBS

I plan to implement deep brain stimulation (DBS) to a network model I’m working with. I’m wondering if there is any network level computational study with DBS.
I noticed that some models used intracellular current injection to approximate the DBS. But I want to model it using extracellular induced field which would be more realistic when axonal projection across regions is involved in the model. I found a good survey paper about electrostimulation in different models. https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1 ... /4346/meta.
Yet, I haven't found a network model doing DBS so far. It would be helpful if there is some established method as reference to my research.
Appreciate if anyone can help me to find it.

I am not aware of any published modeling studies of extracellular stimulation of networks in which the target of the simulation was a network model. That doesn't mean that no such papers exist.
