Hi,
I am a new user to NEURON and have been using the ChannelBuilderGateGUI. I would like to test the changes of Na current after its activation or inactivation curve is altered. But I'm puzzled by the meaning of the viarables such as inf, tau ,a and b .Is infm the G/Gmax in steady state activation cure? Would anyone be able to help me out?
Thanks in advance!
Louis

Help yourself by reading about the equations that describe the Hogkin-Huxley model. Then see if you can answer your own questions.
