Yes. I forgot that the absence of InterViews means that any wrappers that make use of it
cannot work. Instead, one should launch the rxvt icon supplied and in the resultant cygwin
bash terminal window navigate to the directory containing the mod files and launch the
mknrndll
shell script. (This requires that a copy of nrniv.dll exist in c:\nrn71\bin so my suggestion of
moving it above should have been to copy it).

I don't think there is any substantive reason why InterViews cannot be built under mingw
so that is something I'll need to look into.
