Hi,

I am new to mac OS and am trying to install NEURON 7.4. As mentioned I have downloaded the .dmg file and dragged it to applications. But when I try to open nrngui or neurondemo I get the following error. Could anyone of the experienced help me with this issue.

When x11 was missing, previous versions of os x installed it automatically. Now you have to install xquartz from
http://xquartz.macosforge.org
