Building a NEURON model is often just a starting point. The next step is usually characterizing the behavior of the model over a wide range of conditions or parameter settings.

NeuronPM is a new tool that can assist with this process (http://www.neuronpm.homeip.net). It is a free client/server application that lets NEURON run as a screen-saver on Windows computers (like SETI at home!). NeuronPM thus enables you to farm out huge batch runs of your NEURON model. The system was designed for ease of installation and use--an attempt to make large-scale analysis of NEURON models more widely available.

I've developed NeuronPM over the past several months in the laboratory of Paul S. Katz in the department of Biology at Georgia State University. Although the project is early in development, it is working and available for download. We're looking for brave souls will want to try it out and provide feedback for further development.

Further information is on the NeuronPM website: http://www.neuronpm.homeip.net

Is this link correct? I'm unable to access the website. Else where on the net you have it posted http://neuronpm.homeip.net but that doesn't work either.

Is the site down?
