Calcium Dependent Gap Junction

Salutations,

I few years ago I was searching the modeldb and found a definition for a gap junction that factored in calcium. I have since lost the majority of my bookmarks and have been unable to find the specific model again.

Essentially, the gap junction conductance or resistance was in part modulated by the [Ca2+].

Does anyone know / remember this model and if so could you please send me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Newberry

You can quickly find all models in ModelDB that involve gap junctions. On ModelDB's home page
http://modeldb.yale.edu/
there are three columns of links. Left to right, their headers are
Find models by
Find models for
Find models of
In the right column ("Find models of") click on the link
"Electrical synapses (gap junctions)"
As of today this brings up 18 entries, unless I miscounted. Since the one you are interested in was present "several years ago", you can probably ignore the two or three that were published in 2008-2009.

Happy hunting!
