How to get the prototype structure to print
Sir, i have made a prototype stucture in a session file for my work. Now for documentation i wanted to print it how can i get it out of the neuron GUI for print & using it in paint.please let me know the proper path for doing it.

Well sir i tried doing it thruogh the same but when u see the hoc code u will find the goemetry like nseg ,L and dia are lost . sir can u please send me the hoc file directly through mail as i am facing time constraint to complete my project.I want the hoc file for n121 CA1 neuron.can u do that plea...

thank you for the help. i could almost understand what you replied except for using the pt3d functions. also could you please tell me how to save the save the geometry once i get using the psection()..please if you could tell me how to exactly retain the entire geometry cause i can only avail the ge...

Sir, i tried to get the file in cell builder. but the dimensions are not being loaded into the cell builder. I used the method mentioned in tutorial.then when in cell builder i tried to view the celll geometry it was not there & only the default values used to come like dia=1 & L=100microme...

How to incorporate a file in GUI
I already have a created geometry file from a model db in n160_mod.nrn. i am working on GUI of neuron.how will i be able to upload this geometric structure in Gui cell builder.how can i get that topological structure?

But then structure which u gave now does not have apical dendrities.
I am working on BAP & memory retention in CA1.I am only concentrating on one type of channel i.e. Atype-Transient K+ channel so do u think its ok if i dont have a subset with name axon.

Not finding a axonal section in the imported 3D structure
I downloaded the 3D structure from the site neuromorpho.org in the swc format & tried to import it in the cell builder. But a problem came that when i saw the subsets part of cell builder i was not able to identify the axon.the parts were " all, somatic, basal & apical. So please help m...
