The NEURON simulation environment in epilepsy research

This article focuses on the NEURON simulation environment from the 
perspective of how it is useful for epilepsy research. It begins with an overview of the kinds of 
problems for which NEURON is best suited, then discusses specific features of NEURON's 
programming language and graphical user interface (GUI) that help users create and 
manage models of neurons and networks of neurons.
